1. I only test with very experience models and make up artists who have a wide ranging portfolio already.  If you are new model or make up artist looking to build your portfolio, I will not work with you on a test basis and you should come to me as a client.  If you are signed exclusively to an agency, please ensure they also agree with these terms and conditions before applying.

2. You will recieve 5 full resolution digitally retouched images of my choice from the shoot in electronic format within 3 weeks of the shoot date.  If you wish to retain a choice of which images you want, you should come to me as a client, not on a test basis.  I do not give out raw unedited files.

3. I will require a fully signed model release form from models.  The model release form you sign allows me to sell the images from the test shoot via www.istockphoto.com on a royalty free basis with no extra compensation to you unless agreed prior to the shoot.  On average, I make less than £20 per shoot from iStock, which helps to cover my kits costs.  Ensure you read and understand the model release form, link below:

4. I cannot take responsibility for how your images will be used by iStock customers, and I am not liable for any image abuse conducted by a thrid party.  Please do not complain to me about image abuse by a third party - you are free to pursue relevant legal action against those who infringe upon your rights. 

5. Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes early to the shoot.  The shoot will take place in a studio which I pay for, so if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to the shoot, I will charge you for a whole hour of studio time (minimum charge of £20).  Transport delays are not a valid excuse for me - leave earlier.

6. Models should ensure they have clean moisturised skin, clean nude or unpainted nails, and clean hair in good glossy condition.  If you have any issues with your skin or hair condition, do not schedule a shoot with me until you can meet the stated requirements. 

7. DO NOT schedule a shoot if you are working (or playing) late the night before the shoot.  Make sure you have had a good night sleep before the shoot so you don't turn up tired. 

8. I require 48 hours notice for any cancellations.  If you notify me of cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the shoot, I will charge you for the studio booking.

9. Images can be used for self-promotion only, which excludes commercial advertising (i.e. advertising space you have paid for).  If you require images for advertising purposes, you should come to me as a paying client.

          •A list of agencies you are signed with including contact details or a web link

          •If you are model, also include your age, height, and current dress size.

Your web portfolio should include images with : clean makeup, stong/funky makeup, close headshots showing your teeth and current hair colour/length, full bodies shots, and a variety of facial expressions. Please DO NOT send me an email if your portfolio does not include this much range.
